Floral Associate - Part-Time

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:Provide prompt and courteous service to customers according to company policiesMaintain floral case and display areas, indoors and outdoorsWater plants, remove dead flowers, yellow leaves and rearrange displays as directedWrite up orders for plants, flowers, balloons, etc.Unpack deliveries, check quality of product, and verify against invoices. Report any discrepancies to the managerMake fruit baskets, gift baskets, floral arrangements, etc. as directedMaintain knowledge of all products sold in the departmentFill helium balloons as needed.Maintain shelves, cases, floors and storage areas in clean conditionPerform other functions as requested.Requirements:

Must be a self starter and able to take direction well. Also must be able to work well with others as a groupMust be 18 years of agePhysical Demands:

Stand on feet, bend forward, stoop or walk for the majority of the time on dutyWork in cooler for short periods of timeLift cases/containers of product up to 35 pounds
