Job Summary Under the immediate direction of the AccessPlus Team Lead, the Commercial Lines Sales Mentor is responsible for the distribution of quotes and bind requests to other AccessPlus team members, and also the quoting and writing of new business accounts on behalf of member agents. This position works closely with our member agents (agency principals, account managers and producers) and insurance carriers to streamline the delivery of information regarding new business opportunities and the new business process. This position requires a high level of prioritization and organizational skills as well as exceptional interpersonal skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage Sales Force submissions and distribute quotes.

Review new business applications for completeness and contact agents for missing information.

Finalize quotes and issue policies through carrier websites.

Mentor new agents on applications and insurance products.

Achieve annual submission goals and meet time standards.

Guide new agents through mentorship programs.

Conduct quality assurance audits on bind confirmations.

Assist in planning and implementing training initiatives for member agents.

Coordinate meetings for member agents and create marketing materials.

Communicate effectively with customers and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve common objectives.
