Responsibilities (How you will make an impact):

· In conjunction with Marketing Team, lead development of long term marketing and financial plans that will enable Freshpet to achieve volume, profit and growth objectives.

· Analyze the business and competitive environment, using data and sound judgement to make recommendations for ways to better meet short and long-term business goals, as well as identify insights that can lead to new business building ideas.

· Partner with Innovation Team to develop and execute 3–5-year NPD (New Product Development) strategy to support overall brand objectives.

· Serve as marketing project lead for product renovations including channel specific products, graphics updates, and cost savings initiatives.

· Manage and lead multiple cross functional teams, including R&D (Research & Development), Operations, Packaging, Market Research, and Sales to execute brand initiatives and implement plans. Ensure the brand strategy is communicated, understood and implemented by all cross functional groups.

· Lead merchandising strategy for Freshpet fridges in conjunction with Sales Team to enhance shoppability, assortment prioritization and execution of overall brand strategy.

· Manage business analytics, forecasting and planning including monthly state of the business tracking and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications (What you will bring):

· MBA with 3-4 years of experience in a similar or related role, ideally experience working in CPG Food/Pet Brand Marketing.

· BS/BA with 5 years of experience in a similar or related role, ideally in CPG Food/Pet Brand Marketing.

· Critical, creative and strategic thinker with a strong consumer-first orientation and problem-solving skills.

· Self-starter and action oriented mentality with the ability to manage multiple projects and thrives in a fast-paced working environment.

· Experience with business forecasting and developing a business case, strong analytical ability and financial acumen.

· Proven ability to assess and react to complex data points, distilling information down to actionable insights.

· Excellent communication and presentation skills required and ability to collaborate and influence key stakeholders.

· Strong project management skills, including identifying key milestones and delivering against deadlines.
