to join our amazing talented team in our Technical Services Division.
Position is in Costa Mesa, CA area.This position will be responsible for providing Integrated Product Support for Dayton T. Brown in support of various program contracts to an OEM customer. This includes program oversight of associated quality, budget, scope, and schedule as it relates to program deliverables. You will also be responsible for the following:Work onsite to assist with product support planning in coordination with the designated OEM program managers.Support Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) and provide monthly reports of planned and worked tasks.Attend Program Integrated Project Team (IPT), In Process Review (IPR) meetings, and Logistics/Product Support meetings.Attend Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Critical Design Review (CDR) meetings.Provide input into the program logistics/product support, technical publications and/or training (WBS) section of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).In-depth knowledge of Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRL), Subcontract Data Requirements Lists (SDRL), and Data Item Descriptions (DID) associated with Logistics, Technical Publication and Training development.Understanding of technical manual development IAW standards such as S1000D, NAVAIR 00-25-604, NAVSEAINST 4160, MIL-STD-3031, MIL-STD-3048, and MIL-STD-40051.Responsible for planning and coordinating work with Dayton T. Brown program managers across the division, ensuring planned and actual work are monitored, risks and solutions are raised, mitigated, and monitored.Always be on the lookout for new opportunities for business development within the supporting OEM.Responsible for developing evaluation methods to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.Assist with technical proposals in response to RFPs as it relates to Product Support requirements, to provide resource and technical solutions.Knowledge of project management principles, planning, and the ability to measure both program and individual job performance.Strong oral and written communication, analytical, and critical thinking capabilities.Strong understanding of business management and financial principles.Ability to work in pressure situations and meet tight deadlines.
The ideal candidate will have proven successful experience as a Product Support Manager with emphasis in technical publications, training, and logistics. Additional qualifications include:Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Engineering, Business Management, or a related discipline.10+ years of applicable experience in the development and implementation of product support strategies ensuring supportability is considered throughout the system product life cycle.5+ years of experience in a management role.Strong experience with the elements of Integrated Product Support (IPS) throughout the product lifecycle.Experience in the development of proposals and the associated impact of cost and schedule.Experience with presentations to senior managers, executives, and/or program leadership.Understanding of Total Lifecycle Systems Management (TLCSM)Experience with USAF, USA, USN, and USMC acquisition development program offices.Familiar with ACAT I, ACAT II, and ACAT III programs.DAWIA Acquisition Logistics certification at Level I, II, or III is highly desirable.Military aviation operations and/or maintenance experience a plus.Instructional System Design and curriculum development experience a plus.Strong computer skills; must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.PMP Certification a plus.Agile Certification a plus.Be able to travel, as required.Must have an active DoD SECRET clearance.
