:Softtek Government Solutions, is seeking a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to support our government client.Duties and Responsibilities
:The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer is responsible for designing testing procedures. This includes analyzing functionality of applications and designing automated tests to validate their performance.The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will serve as a back-up to the Quality Assurance Automation Team LeadQualifications/Requirements
:Required Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related eld with eight (8) or more years of relevant experience in an Enterprise IT environment.Required Skills/Experience:Certied Scrum Master (CSM) certication.DHS Section 508 Trusted Tester certication within 6 months after contract award.Experience implementing test tools to support test automation, performance testing, and code coverage; ie. Selenium and SonarQube.Experience meeting with the software design team to discuss verication protocols.Experience identifying software application weaknesses and target areas.Experience sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures.Experience reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas.Experience writing automation scripts and implementing software applications.Experience designing and installing software databases.Experience troubleshooting automation software and nalizing system procedures.Experience identifying quality issues and creating test reports.Experience collaborating with the design team to solve application faults.Excellent active listening and verbal communication skillsStrong business writing abilityFlexible and adaptable attitudeCan conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelinesAbility to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of stakeholdersAbility to discuss technical issues with non-technical, executive-level government ocialsLeading and mentoring teamsRequired Clearance:U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain an DHS SuitabilityAbout Softtek Government SolutionsSofttek Government Solutions is a professional services firm focused on addressing our nation's most complex threats and challenges.
