Job Summary:Dexian is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Quality Assurance Tester for an opportunity with a client located in Charlotte, NC.Responsibilities:Review and analyze system specificationsCollaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plansExecute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze resultsEvaluate product code according to specificationsCreate logs to document testing phases and defectsReport bugs and errors to development teamsHelp troubleshoot issuesConduct post-release/ post-implementation testingWork with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Requirements:Must be on-site 5 days a weekAbility to plan and document tests.Ability to execute tests and troubleshoot issues to narrow the resulting problemAbility to document defects and issues while providing due diligence. Understanding of agile and the tester's role in the processAbility to assess and test (groom) Epics and Stories in an agile process. Ability to document test plans and test cases/scriptsAbility to be on-site in a test lab to test ATM software on hardware devicesExecute and document results of testing which includes trouble shooting and reducing defects to their most succinct stepsInstallations of software, conditioning of data and assessing and communicating test environmental issuesHardware testing on-site in a lab environmentTalents should include curiosity, tenacity and ability to clearly deduce and communicate issues to the appropriate levelExperience with any device testing in a lab environmentTeam focused behavior and an ability to communicate issues in a timely and appropriate mannerAble to work independently and make decisions that will move the work forward despite challengesBachelors DegreeDegree in computer science or Testing certificateFunction in a lab environment with teaming skills and willing to work with hardware (ATMs)Understanding of the agile framework and use of agile tools for test management and defect trackingAbility to use test management tools such as JiraExperience testing a user interface with ability to manipulate dataExploratory and UAT testing or working closely with business partners to gain acceptance
