DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYAs an Account Manager with Liberty Packaging, you will contribute to the growth of our business by focusing on both winning new business as well as growing existing customer relationships. Our business-to-business Account Managers deliver on a go-to-market strategy that helps our customers expand their offerings, achieve cost savings, and deliver margin improvement and profitability for LDI, while maintaining long-term customer relationships.This full-time position reports directly to theSales Director and is located at Liberty Packaging's manufacturing plant in Fort Worth, Texas.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESIn partnership with the area Sales Manager, build and execute a sales and marketing strategy to capture new business at existing customers and identify new customers in a variety of new and emerging industriesDrive new sales opportunities by identifying key decision-makers and creating the right approach to reach them. Execute traditional and Go-To-Market sales strategies to capture market share, improve profit margin, and deliver untapped value for our customersInitiate customer relationships and close business utilizing a proven sales processLeverage our packaging capabilities as you work closely with our talented internal teams: design, pricing, customer service, estimating, production, procurement, and logistics - to design custom packaging solutions that meet our customers' needsManage customer expectations and provide an excellent customer service experienceContinue to cultivate long-term customer relationships as you strive to meet their ongoing packaging needs.Monitor market, customer, and consumer trends that impact the businessOther duties, as assignedREQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSHigh school diploma / GED equivalent from an accredited institution and 2+ related sales experience OR Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business or related field in lieu of experienceExperience planning, implementing, and analyzing new sales strategiesExperience in a manufacturing organization is a plusStrong prospecting and business development skillsExcellent communication skills and superior resolution and decision-making skillsStrong prospecting and business development skillsResults-oriented with a sense of urgency; motivated by successAbility to work independently and committed to meeting deadlinesAbility to travel locally outside of home office up to 75% of the time, occasional extended travelPREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSPrevious experience in paper / corrugated industryPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
