Overview:

Norbar Torque Tools, a leader in torque measurement solutions and wholly owned subsidiary of Snap-on Incorporated, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager/Sales Engineer to sell the Norbar and Sturtevant Richmont product lines within the Gulf Coast States/Central Region Territory.Responsibilities:Develop an effective sales plan to introduce the Norbar & Sturtevant Richmont product linesQualify, build, and sell through the distribution networkCold call and sell direct within the assigned territoryMake regular contact with customers. Prepare call reports and sales quotesMaintain customer files, contact information, and customer historyMay attend conventions and trade showsMay work outside of assigned territory to support national accounts and other territoriesAll other duties as assigned by management50% travel -territory includes TX, LA, OK and ARQualifications:

High school diplomaOutside industrial sales experience, preferably calling on power generation, heavy manufacturing, aviation or automotive assembly industriesExcellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skillsExcellent hands-on skills along with a solid mechanical aptitudeProficient in Microsoft officeAbility to learn company and vendor windows-based software programsAbility to work well as a member of a teamAbility to lift/move up to 50 lbs and traverse half a mile or more through manufacturing sites or field locationsA clean driving recordWilling to travel overnight within sales territoryIdeal ExperienceHands on industrial sales experience, selling one or more of the following: air or electrically operated geared power tools, torque tools, pneumatic power tools, bolting and/or fasteners or MES SystemsExperience managing a multi-state sales territory and selling direct as well as through other sales channelsExperience working with Industrial Distributors and Manufacturer RepsExperience conducting sales demonstrations and presentations, and operating power and programmable toolsBenefitsWe offer a competitive starting salary, 100% paid medical insurance along with a company-provided HSA card, a 401K plan, paid vacation days, paid company holidays and more!Snap-on is an Equal Opportunity Employer,Minority/Female/Disabled/Veteran.
