STV is seeking a skilled OpenRoads Design Manager specializing in transportation projects to join our Digital Advisory team. The OpenRoads Designer will be responsible for utilizing Bentley's OpenRoads software to develop innovative and efficient designs for transportation infrastructure projects, contributing to the successful completion of projects within quality standards, budget constraints, and timelines.Responsibilities:Utilize Bentley's OpenRoads software to develop 3D models, alignments, profiles, corridors, and cross-sections for transportation projects.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to integrate design components into overall project plans.
Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and specifications for roadway, highway, and transit projects.
Conduct design reviews, constructability assessments, and quality control checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
Assist in the preparation of project reports, presentations, and client communications.
Stay updated with industry trends, software advancements, and best practices related to OpenRoads design.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in Bentley's OpenRoads software and related tools (OpenRoads Designer, OpenRoads ConceptStation, etc.).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation engineering with a focus on roadway design, alignment optimization, and geometric design.
Familiarity with relevant design standards and guidelines (AASHTO, FHWA, state DOTs, etc.).
Strong technical skills in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
