Overview

Position: Senior End User SpecialistLocation: Albuquerque, New MexicoSalary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 per yearClearance: Active Q ClearanceKeyLogic is seeking a Linux support teach who can work on both classified and unclassified machines in a highly secure area. The work will be entirely onsite. The team is comprised of End User Support Techs doing both Windows and Linux work, System Administrators, Certified Project Managers and Cyber Security personnel. There is potential to learn other areas outside of desktop support for the right candidate.Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will provide both classified and unclassified RedHat Linux support to our customer base.Should have a strong customer service ethic and experience with Linux Desktop System Administration.Should have the ability to translate technical terms into layperson terms and present them to audiences outside of the organization.The selected candidate must be willing to take and pass a polygraph if selected for random testing.

Qualifications:AA in Computer Science or related field plus 4 years of related experienceMust be a US CitizenshipMust have an Active DOE Q clearance or DOD TS and be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy Q security clearance with SCI.Required SkillsExperience with Linux system administration, preferably RedHatUnderstand enterprise network services like DNS, NTP, DHCP, databases, VPN, firewalls, switches, routers, and distributed storage systemsExperience configuring and troubleshooting networking equipmentAbility to learn new IT system technologies

Desired Skills:DoD Top Secret with Reciprocity and an active SCIExperience with scripting languagesExperience with deploying and administering servers in a high security production environmentAbility to work closely with researchers to identify needs/expectations and articulate action items and responsibilitiesAn in-depth knowledge of LinuxHave the ability to thrive in a teaming environmentUnderstanding of Systems Engineering disciplines particularly Requirements Management and Configuration ManagemenAn understanding of Cloud Computing such as VMware, Open Stack and KVM/ProxmoxThe ability to research and propose technical solutions which satisfy requirementsAn in-depth knowledge of network devices like switches, routers, VPNs, and firewall devicesExperience with and the ability to utilize collaboration tools like Wikis, Mattermost, Jira & GitLabExperience with process improvement activities and full life cycle development processes such as Agile, Lean 6, ISO, CMMi, or ITILExperience in working with Project management professionals preferably of large, complex, or interdependent projects
