Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an Onsite SharePoint Engineer focused on SharePoint On premise demise with a wholesome understanding SharePoint infrastructure. The candidate will work with global teams to support the risk mitigation of End of Life infrastructure, working closely with product owners, architects, engineers, support teams. Responsibilities include engineering options for reducing the foot print of SharePoint on-premises infrastructure as we move the platform to the cloud. The candidate will be involved in ensuring Tech Risk controls and meeting the risk mitigation goals for the firm. Additional complementary experiences include strong understanding of SharePoint Online and OneDrive engineering and experience migrating SharePoint on premise to SharePoint Online. The ideal candidate would have 5+ years of experience in these areas of technology.
Other responsibilities include:
Migrating legacy SharePoint versions to SharePoint Online.
-Migrating home drive/local drive to OneDrive.
-Integration between different workloads in M365 (Teams,
Exchange, etc.).
-Working with Microsoft 365 security and compliance center, focused on data loss prevention within Azure

Skills and Requirements
-In depth knowledge of SharePoint 2013/2016/2019/SE hosted on premise
-Extensive PowerShell scripting for administration of the environment
-Experience with migrating SharePoint on premise to SharePoint Online, including OneDrive implementation and deployment at an enterprise level
-In depth Experience with change and incident management processes
-Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems, as well as SQL Server, Power BI, PowerShell, and Office 365.
-Good understanding of the integration points between different workloads in M365 (Teams, Exchange etc)
-Strong conceptual, problem solving and analytic skills with the ability to independently drive timely resolution of complex issues -Good understanding of Microsoft Graph APIs.
-Experience working in a financial institution.
-Experience working in large-scale firms with legacy infrastructure null
