Overview
BlueWater Federal is looking for a Senior Capture Manager to lead capture efforts and participate in overall growth efforts. As a Capture Manager, you will be responsible for working with the Growth Team to include BD, Proposals, and Operations to build capture plans to position and win new business.Responsibilities
Identify related needs (lead generation, opportunity expansion)Identify customer-wide parameters and constraints that impact the solutionHelp BD develop Account Plans and corresponding pipelinesRecommend teaming partners and relationships for each capture opportunityWork with BD and Talent Acquisition to find key personnel and resumes during the pre-solicitation and post-solicitation phasesCollaborate internally with the growth team and externally with our teammates to develop and submit a winning proposalIdentify probable competition and support the SWOT analysisAuthor and review technical content as necessary to fill gaps in the proposal teamTechnical solution Planning, Design and leadershipResearch the client organization and meets with key client representatives in order to develop a comprehensive understanding of the customer's needsWork with solution leaders to determine appropriate technical solution to meet the customer's requirementsQualifications
10+ years of combined relevant experience to include any/all of the following roles-Capture Manager, Proposal, Business Development.Expert at research and analysisDemonstrate deep understanding of the Defense marketBachelor's or higher degree (STEM field preferred, but not required)Must have experience calling on Defense agenciesExperience as a Program/Project Manager is desiredClearance (Secret minimum) is preferredExperience developing BOEs, LOEs, Staffing Plans, and writing proposals is desiredExperience with some of the following customers: Space Command or Space Force, Air Force, Navy, Army, SOCOM, DoD HQs and agencies (4th Estate), or the IC is preferredBlueWater Federal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
