Position Overview

The Strategic Account Manager will be based in Louisiana and is responsible for managing a set of clients and prospects around our offerings with cybersecurity technology consultation, contract pricing and renewals, managed detection and response service sales, professional service sales, and risk & compliance consultation. The ideal candidate will have the ability to use their knowledge to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions

Become the client and prospect contact as a cybersecurity advisor for areas to include, but not limited to, endpoint, network, security operations, vulnerability management, SIEM, incident response, security assessments and testing, threat intelligence, and much more.Drive new business sales while managing your sales process from prospecting to close.Meet or exceed quota while helping to maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data.Deliver dynamic and engaging presentations and product demonstrations via MS Teams and in person.Execute the full sales process by building pipeline through identifying and qualifying opportunities within your territory and negotiating pricing and contractual terms to close sales as required.Ensure excellent service and support to prospects and customers by creating long-term business relationships.Build, maintain, and develop knowledge to become an expert on CyberOne's solutions and vendors.Utilize Salesforce to track all pertinent information related to the opportunity and account, and effectively manage your territory.Experience

Required Education/ExperienceBachelor's degree or 5+ years of related sales experience preferred.5+ years experience with any technology value added partner company or manufacturer.

Preferred Education/ExperienceCurrent client and vendor network within the Louisiana territory.Sales experience in State, Local, K-12/ISDs, and Higher Ed is a plus.Skills

Previous work experience with sales tools that include, but are not limited to Salesforce.com, MS Office Suite & Teams, OneDrive, and other CRM/Marketing applications.Above average computer skills (Microsoft Office products).Customer Service Skills to foster client relationships and interact in team environment.Organization Skills.Above average communication skills (verbal and written) including documenting findings and recommendations.Multi-Tasking and Time Management Skills; can adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment.Abilities

Experience with achieving quota attainment in a remote sales position.Proven excellence in selling IT security solutions to enterprise organizations and running an effective sales process.Demonstrated ability to close complex deals involving multiple executive level stakeholders and enterprise sales cycles.Successful record of prospecting, engaging, penetrating organizations at multiple levels, and acquiring major/enterprise-level customers.Work in an extremely fast paced, fun environment.Certificate and License Requirements

Sales certifications with cybersecurity vendors are a plus, but not required.Work Environment

25% travel may be required to provide support for marketing activities, events, and customer meetings around the state.Frequently operates a computer and other office productivity machinery for prolonged periods throughout the workday.Work is typically performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment.May be required to work evenings, weekends to meet company and customer needs.Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.Must be able to move about inside a professional office environment.An environment that empowers employees to contribute to an organization that embraces a fail-fast mentality.An open, supportive, fast paced, and collaborative work environment.
