Senior Technical Services Manager

Your Tasks• You will lead the technical sales and bid activities for electrolyzer projects from bid preparation and submission to contract negotiation and signing, and finally handover to Project Execution.• You will take the lead in defining and developing the best technical solutions in cooperation with customers, sales team, and internal engineering and project management organizations.• You will lead the negotiations of the technical requirements, specifications and division of responsibility for electrolyzer equipment sales contracts.• You will work closely with the Cost Estimation teams to define and develop project-specific sales calculations including electrolyzer equipment, balance of plant equipment, logistics and shipping, project management and engineering, and installation & commissioning.• You will lead project risk assessments, together with supporting internal stakeholders, to identify and define project-specific risks, mitigations, and opportunities prior to contract signature.• You will develop project schedules that incorporate manufacturing, project engineering, logistics, and installation & commissioning.• You will work together with the global Proposal Management department based in Europe to adapt, define, and implement fit-for-purpose proposal tools and processes in the North America region.

Your Profile• You have a degree in engineering, construction management, or project management with proven technical experience in complex industrial energy projects within North America.• You have a minimum of 10 years' experience working in proposals, bid management, technical sales, or project management roles at either an energy equipment OEM or EPC company• You have general knowledge of US, Canadian, and European technical codes and standards that would be relevant for electrolyzer equipment and associated balance of plant.• You are extremely detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to effectively manage multiple complex projects at different stages in parallel.• You are an innovative entrepreneur, a genuine networker and curious by nature.• You have a flexible attitude, are creative, and able to challenge boundaries, being able to take internal and external parties involved out of the box.• You are a real problem-solver, result-driven, positive-minded, combined with enormous enthusiasm and perseverance.• You have good leadership skills and a likable personality that allow you to work through a project from A to Z with other departments and external stakeholders.• You have experience working in an international environment that involves collaboration with internal and external parties across different countries and time zones.
