Essential Duties:Responsible for performing critical post-production inspection steps to ensure product accuracy and safety.Inspect machined parts to ensure client’s compliance.Grind, buff and polish pieces while maintaining accuracy.Identify problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.Qualifications:Knowledge of machines and tools, including their uses and maintenance.Knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in finishingBasic computer knowledgeAbility to do simple math calculationsAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos and blue prints.Ability to write simple correspondence and fill in required quality forms.Ability to read and properly use measuring devices, such as micrometers, calipers, go/no-go gages, and other inspection devices as neededHigh School Diploma or GED required
