Description:Custom Engineering is currently seeking 1st and 2nd shift CNC Machinists to operate horizontal boring mills, vertical mills and bridge mills.Create a set up and remove workpieces from a machine per procedureProficiently use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators and gauges to ensure conformance of specified tolerancesProficient at performing in-process inspections at a machine and adjusting various offsets to ensure conformance of workpieces as requiredPosition and secure workpieces on machines using measuring instruments, holding devices, hand tools, and cranesStudy blueprints, lay outs, sketches, and work orders to determine tolerances and work proceduresProficient knowledge in general machining practicesAbility to recognize tooling types and procedures for machining close tolerances

Trade Certification or equivalent experience.

Experience in CNC operation/schooling

Proficient in reading and understanding documents, blueprints and basic GD&T

Knowledge of addition, subtraction, fractions, decimals and calculate tooling speeds and feeds

Proficient knowledge of CNC controls and G-code commands

Ability to adjust/set tool lengths, set work offsets, and make adjustments within a program

Crane experience

Forklift experience

Compensation details:

20-24 Hourly Wage
