Job Overview:We are looking for extremely motivated and passionate HVAC technicians who would like to be a part of an exciting new company looking to fight climate change through disrupting the residential HVAC industry. As our first install crew, we are looking for individuals with deep install experience to help us prototype processes and procedures that we will be implementing across North America. You will be responsible for removing gas furnaces and installing heat pump systems, and collaborating with engineering teams on how the product can be improved and the install process streamlined.
Responsibilities:
Install new heat pump systemsInspect and perform maintenance on existing HVAC systemsDiagnose and repair HVAC system issuesPerform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and replacing filtersTest HVAC systems to ensure proper functionalityFollow blueprints, schematics, and building codes when installing or repairing systemsCollaborate with other technicians and engineering teams on the product and processesProvide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questionsRequirements:
Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar roleHVAC/R Red Seal (preferred), but also open to apprenticesGas Fitter B (preferred), but also open to apprenticesStrong knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systemsAbility to read blueprints and schematicsFamiliarity with building codes and regulationsExcellent problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentPhysical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditionsDo you feel like you don"t have everything that"s listed above but can still do the job?
