RAMS was founded in 1994 as a flexible workforce provider. Since then, we have grown into a Skilled Construction Services company that specializes in providing tradesmen for the 3 main phases of vertical construction: electrical, mechanical, and plumbing.
RAMS is also a licensed general contractor and a licensed electrical contractor. We don't do this to bid jobs or compete with our customers. Instead, RAMS invested in these licenses so we could operate a state-certified pre-apprenticeship program called JumpStart. This is a major differentiator between RAMS and the many traditional staffing companies in the market.

Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic - Gainesville and Ocala FL AreasWe are seeking skilled and reliable Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanics to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse commercial projects, showcasing your expertise in fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing sheet metal products and equipment, such as ducts, control boxes, drainpipes, and furnace casings.

FREE MONEY!Commercial Sheet Metal Mechanics Responsibilities:Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout requirementsInstall and secure sheet metal structures and equipment such as ductwork, fittings, and hangersFabricate or alter parts at construction sites using shears, hammers, punches, and drillsTrim, file, grind, deburr, buff, and smooth surfaces, seams, and joints of assembled partsInstall insulation within ductwork and ensure proper sealing to prevent energy lossComply with all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment and proper handling of materialsCommercial Sheet Metal Mechanic Requirements:3 + years of experience in installation of different duct (rectangle, spiral, oval, flex, etc.)Assemble fiberglass and sheet metal ductworkMeasure, size, cut, and apply duct insulationMust have ALL tools required for the tradeStrong working knowledge of job site safety - OSHA 10 preferredAbility to work well with others, take instruction and work with minimal supervisionAbility to work a 40 hour workweek every weekMust be able to pass background and drug testMust have OWN reliable transportationWe offer a competitive salary for HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanics and your pay will be determined by your experience and a skill test.If you meet the qualifications, please apply now with your resume.COME JOIN THE RAMS FAMILY!
