Registered Nurse (RN) - Pre-OP

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Pre-Op Registered Nurse (RN) to prepare patients for surgery. The RN will conduct pre-operative assessments, provide patient education, and ensure patients are ready for their procedures, both physically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform pre-operative assessments, including reviewing medical histories and current medications.
Educate patients about their upcoming procedures, including fasting, medication adjustments, and post-op care.
Start IVs, administer pre-op medications, and ensure proper documentation.
Collaborate with the surgical team to confirm all necessary preparations are complete.
Provide emotional support and answer any patient or family questions.
Qualifications:
Current RN license
Experience in pre-operative or surgical nursing preferred.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
