Job Description
DUTIES: SCOR Reinsurance Company seeks Senior Business Analyst in New York, NY to serve as advisor for the Head of North America including reporting for the Executive Committee, Compliance, Finance, Sales, Claim. Oversee and lead the Strategy of Single Risks North America, and follow the strategic and operating plan. Develop and analyze portfolio analysis to ensure business is aligned with strategy from a development and profitability perspective.

DUTIES: SCOR Reinsurance Company seeks Senior Business Analyst in New York, NY to serve as advisor for the Head of North America including reporting for the Executive Committee, Compliance, Finance, Sales, Claim. Oversee and lead the Strategy of Single Risks North America, and follow the strategic and operating plan. Develop and analyze portfolio analysis to ensure business is aligned with strategy from a development and profitability perspective. Assist in preparation of Board and Management Meetings. Assist in key client management development & implementation. Support Head of North America and CEO of North America on special projects. Facilitate communication between underwriting, reserving, and finance departments and offices in France & USA. Coordinate with the Global Head of Specialty Insurance. Facilitate strategy and business development and global head of distribution and business development to ensure that the North America strategy is aligned with the worldwide strategy and vision. Utilize experience with data visualization and understand data for North America. Serve as project manager about Data visualization, process improvement and change initiatives. Develop and implement Information technology and process projects by creating new tools and dashboards for different departments. Facilitate data analytics management and development of internal tools. Serve as point of contact for region-specific data needed in coordination with the Chief Technical Officer team. Develop and implement Tableau report with a focus on the needs of North America. Manage Ad-hoc data studies. Develop knowledge management, data access and tools for predictive analytics. Develop and implement solution to increase knowledge management working with Forewriter and Salesforce. Find solutions to simplify the access of data to anyone in the company. Support the larger specialty organization with respect to the role-out of the new Specialty Insurance Platform and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS 17). Analyze, support, and create scenarios about ESG questions at a Group Level (Main Analyst for Net-Zero Insurance Alliance & Partnership for Carbon Accounting Financials).
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Management, or a related field and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation: utilizing data visualization tools, including Tableau, Excel, or Business Object to create comprehensive reports; working on information technology and process projects, including creating tools and dashboards; utilizing project management skills, including leading data visualization, process improvement, and change initiatives; analyzing sales or portfolios, and contributing to strategic and operating plans. One (1) year of experience must include: utilizing experience with insurance platform and software including Omega or Forewriter; working with finance and accounting in the insurance industry; utilizing experience working in the insurance market including understanding market trends, brokers, and competitors. Fluency in French required. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site. Offered salary is between $121,800 and $137,500 per year. 40 hours per week.
