What's the position?

As Senior Director, Legal Affairs specializing in Capital Markets, Corporate Governance and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), you will play a pivotal role in our legal team, focusing on strategic transactions, corporate governance, and capital markets. Reporting to VP, Legal Affairs, you will contribute to the company's growth and success by providing expert legal counsel and support.
  • Capital Markets: Advise on debt issuances and structuring of complex financial instruments and transactions.
  • Corporate Governance: Maintain and enhance corporate governance practices and policies.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions: Assist and manage legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and strategic alliances.
  • Legal Advisory and Risk Management: Provide timely and strategic legal advice to senior management and business units on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, HR, compliance, and operations teams, to achieve business goals.


What are we looking for?
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one state bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on capital markets, M&A and corporate governance.
  • Prior experience in a reputable law firm and/or in-house legal department, preferably within the gaming, technology, or regulated industry sectors.
  • Strong understanding of mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, corporate governance principles, and transactional processes.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and drafting skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and contribute effectively to cross-functional teams.
