About the Role

Our commercial property and casualty insurance brokerage partners help protect corporations and nonprofits across Canada from the little surprises and the big ones. Our leaders inspire their teams to band together and create an environment driven by collaboration and exceptional client service.

We're looking for a Commercial Account/Client Manager with knowledge of the transportation & logistics space or interested in getting into the transportation/logistics space to manage the day-to-day interactions of business while developing and maintaining relationships with both client and carrier representatives.

What You'll Do
  • Lead in the servicing & preparation applications, specifications, and marketing strategy for new business as well as the renewals associated with commercial trucking and logistics clients in collaboration with backend service team from end to end (submission, marketing, proposal, binding, invoicing, etc.)
  • Provide professional and prompt customer service including phone & email inquiries on new and existing client accounts, including client questions on topics such as coverage, billing, reporting of claims, audits, etc.
  • Assist in maintaining positive, long-term relationships with the clients, insurance carrier representatives and NFP staff

What You Bring
  • RIBO License in good standing required
  • Typically, 7+ years of industry and product line experience servicing, broking or underwriting
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines coupled with the self confidence to make sound independent decisions
  • Ethical, innovative, tolerant and resilient with collaborative problem-solving ability
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills demonstrating business intelligence
  • Positive and passionate attitude towards customer satisfaction and business achievements
  • Solid working knowledge of computer operating systems including industry software such as EPIC or a similar BMS
  • Professional insurance designation (such as CAIB, FCIP, CRM, etc.) is an asset
