Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fixed Income and Securitized Products Trader to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and eager to develop their skills in the fast-paced world of financial markets. In this role, you will be responsible for trading various fixed income and securitized products, including MBS, CMBS, and SBA securities. You will execute trades, manage risk, and work closely with research and sales teams to develop and implement strategies that align with the firm's objectives.

Primary duties will include:
  • Execute trades across fixed income and securitized product markets.
  • Monitor market conditions and identify trading opportunities.
  • Structure and tie-out securitizations tailored to client needs.
  • Manage risk and ensure compliance with trading limits and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with research and sales teams to craft and refine trading strategies.
  • Stay informed about market trends, economic data, and regulatory developments.

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:
  • Two to five years of trading experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Programming experience in Python, R, or similar.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and make quick, informed decisions.

Education / Certification Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Series 7 & Series 63

Working environment: -
  • In-office

Hiring Salary Range $85000-$150000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity and alignment with market data.) Subject to business performance and recommendations of management, this role may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan. This compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
