Location: UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital Main Hosp, US:CO:Fort CollinsDepartment: PVH Sleep LabFTE: Full Time, 0.8, 66.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)Shift: NightsPay: $25.80 - $38.70 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experienceSummary:Provides care for patients undergoing sleep studies and sleep disorder treatment.Responsibilities:- Prepares for the arrival of the patient by setting up and preparing the equipment for the ordered test. Interviews patient to determine sleep disorder issues and to explain testing procedures.- Performs testing and any additional testing required for sleep disorder that is noted.- Scores, interprets and reports results of sleep studies. Educates patients about test results, sleep disorders, community support groups, and available resources.- Prepares, calibrates, repairs, and maintains equipment required for testing. Determines and reports needed repairs and replacements.- Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.Requirements:- High school diploma or GED. Preferred: Graduate of an accredited Polysomnography or Respiratory Therapy program.- Registered as a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) or equivalent, or Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). State licensure if required by law.- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
