Overview

Waters is seeking a dynamic contributor to fill the role of Clinical Account Manager. This person will have the exciting opportunity to drive the sales of our full range of products and services, which include: Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography System, Mass Spectrometers, software, consumables and services for the US Central (Chicago) Region.The desired candidate should be highly self-motivated to develop and implement a territorial business plan, while working in unison with their assigned specialists and marketing colleagues in order to deliver a strong call cycle and business development activities. The foundation of the account manager's role is to develop a keen understanding of the customers' needs to design solutions with lasting and meaningful impact.Responsibilities

Meet or exceed sales targets

Maintain installed-base customer satisfactionAggressively develop new prospects and penetrate competitive accountsVisit customers daily to highlight Waters solutions and help customers with any technical obstacles in their wayBuild technical competency on Waters solution and to be perceived by customers as a credible resourceMaintain current knowledge on vertical markets dynamics, application trends, and other critical business informationProvide information to marketing team to create business development programsFully utilize of our Sales Contact Management Tools and ApplicationsSubmit accurate and timely monthly sales forecastsDevelop business through monthly plan of action

Qualifications

Education:Bachelors Degree, Masters, or PhD in scientific area such as chemistry, biology, or biochemistryExperience:3+ years of LC-MSMS experience3+ years of Sales ExperienceKnowledge about IVD Market, Forensic Applications and/or marketing is a plusOvernight travel is required and international travel as neededSkills:Action oriented and eager to achieve resultsSound communication and presentation skillsHighly organized / well-prepared / time management skillsStrong interpersonal skills and a good listenerMatured disposition, positive attitude and strong sense of commitmentAdaptive to a dynamic and ever-changing environmentStrong technical background in analytical technologies, especially LC and MSStates covered in this region are IL, IA, MN, MO, NE, ND, SD and WI.Company Description
