Job Responsibilities:Transports passengers to and from designated locations.Job Qualifications:Minimum 21 years of age.
CDL with passenger endorsement preferred (for those who do not have their CDL, Arrowhead Transit will provide the necessary training to obtain it). Pass an employer physical exam (DOT), drug test, and “on-the-road” driving test.
Ability to regularly physically assist a range of handicapped passengers (regularly push/pull 35 lbs; regularly life 50 lbs., and occasionally more). Authorized criminal background check required.Needed Attributes:
Ability to work with the elderly, handicapped, and economically disadvantaged.Essential Functions:Obeys federal, state, and local transportation rules and regulationsPhysically assists passengers on/off and about the busCommunicates by radio/mobile data terminalMaintains order on bus at all timesDrives all routes in any assigned vehicleInspects vehicle daily and completes pre-trip reportsCleans and fuels vehicles as assignedCompletes daily paperworkAdheres to Transit’s Driver Manual & General Operating ProceduresFT Bus Drivers needed in Hibbing, MN. 40 hrs/wk.
