Great Place to Work®-Certified company , is looking for an Operations Intern. This position is intended to provide training and experience in the commercial or civil/municipal construction industry. This position serves to determine if an individual is aligned with our Core Values and has the potential to develop the technical competencies required to be successful within the LEMOINE organization. We plan to expose an Operations Intern to some or all of our key operations roles in Estimating, Project Management & Field Supervision and may be asked to obtain a FAA Remote Pilot Certificate in order to pilot drones on one or more job sites.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform safety inspections and job site walkthroughs in order to assist the project team with maintaining a safe construction site.Develop an understanding of how to read and navigate the contract documents (plans, specifications, Owner contracts, bid forms, etc.), as well as help maintain and update these documents.Develop an understanding of the construction schedule and building sequence.Attend meetings and take minutes.Communicating with project stakeholders (internal team, architects, subcontractors, etc.).Required Qualifications:

Working to obtain a bachelor's degree from an accredited University in Construction Management, Engineering, or related curriculum or equivalent work experience.Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, project management, estimating, and scheduling software programs.Solid skills in the areas of math, excellent teamwork, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills.May be performing tasks involving physical labor on construction projects.May operate hand and power tools of all types.Ability to complete requirements to obtain FAA's Small UAS Rule (Part 107), Remote Pilot Certificate.
