As our new Sr. Brand Manager, reporting directly to the Head of Brand & Corporate Marketing, you will:

Drive consistent at scale branding.Connect 8x8's brand to our company culture.Build best-in-class tools, training, and processes.Elevate and reinforce a sense of brand pride.Join us in breaking the mold of traditional B2Boring branding.

Build and evolve global solutions that enable brand consistency at scale:

Drive Enablement: Empower and inspire the 8x8 network of employees, agencies, and partners to collectively build a globally consistent, meaningful, and memorable brand.Build Guidelines: Develop a best-in-class process to document and codify our brand strategy, positioning, messaging, identity system, asset libraries, and templates. Build new brand guidelines, expanding and updating it as an always-on single source of truth.Create Tools: Evolve our high-impact brand systems-videos, events, photography, graphics-and drive the strategic planning for the creation of ongoing libraries, templates, and playbooks to solve the needs of the business.Manage Platforms: Drive the RFP and launch our new digital Brand Center and DAM platforms. Evolve and oversee the quality of our branded swag.Lead Audits: Lead annual brand audits to measure brand consistency across both internal and external channels. Report findings to the Brand Team and cross-functional leaders, and identify opportunities for improvement.Increase brand engagement and adherence through immersive programs:

Grow Education: Educate 8x8's employees, agencies, and partners around our brand strategy, messaging, expression, and experiences. Establish an always-on brand training, content, and comms program. Lead the rollout of ongoing brand updates, including company-wide newsletters, notifications, and campaigns.Boost Engagement: Build ongoing relationships across teams to drive scalability and consistency, while protecting company reputation and eliminating custom one-off ticket requests. Engage to understand the needs of the business, while strengthening their understanding of brand purpose, strategy, and expression. Drive content reuse and increase the adoption of Brand Center by soliciting feedback, analyzing gaps, responding to concerns, and optimizing the portal experience.Implement Governance: Establish a brand governance and approval program to drive performance and accountability across the organization, creating high-quality experiences that are on-brand and optimize investments.You'll have accountability for:

Building strong relationships with business owners across product, brand, demand gen, sales, field marketing, product marketing, comms, content, web, and executive leadership teams.Communicating 8x8's value proposition to core audiences, including customers, employees, analysts, journalists, and investors.Creating brand loyalty among key stakeholders: customers, prospects, analysts, investors.Managing a small but mighty team to drive brand roadmap, intake, and process.The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of real-world brand management experience for visible brands leading guidelines, education, and governance.Both strategic and tactical capabilities - can analyze the market, competitors, and company and can be hands on and help execution at the detailed level.High energy with the ability to lead meaningful change in an extremely dynamic, diverse environment.Outstanding communicator with the ability to build relationships, influence across all levels, and drive smart decision-making.Exceptional problem-solving skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for company purpose and brand.Impeccable organizational skills, a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail.Strong sense of accountability, brand ownership, and ability to coach down, up and across all levels.Ability to provide clear, structured, and strategic brand guidance.It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Building an iconic brand.Leading brand architecture and naming.Fluent in Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Suite, Figma, Asana, Miro, DAM and CMS tools.

The compensation range reflects the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. 8x8 has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate's primary work location. Further, individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, knowledge, success, education and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including discretionary merit increases, bonus and/or stock. Certain roles have the opportunity to earn sales variable compensation incentives based on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.

Salary Ranges:$120,375.00 - $223,750.00
