MZ Wallace is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated person interested in fashion and accessories to be part of our retail team. We strive to build authentic customer relationships and deliver an extraordinary shopping experience. As Assistant Store Manager, you are the key to achieving these goals.

Responsibilities:

Maximizing sales at all opportunities and providing a friendly and welcoming environment while communicating effectively with customers to determine needs.

Ensure a consistent customer experience is achieved through all associates, and handle escalations as necessary.

Continually considering ways to improve the customer experience and increase both personal and store productivity.

Implement policies, procedures, and systems to ensure we are working best in class.

Operational responsibilities include unlocking/locking the store, opening/closing the POS system, reconciling the cash register, and writing and emailing daily sales reports.

Mastering internal systems to ensure efficient and accurate processing of sales transactions, phone orders, returns, exchanges, refunds, and in-store fulfillment.

Help coordinate inventory management, transfers, and in-store merchandising.

Train seasonally on product knowledge.

Ensuring premier customer shopping experience through impeccable store appearance and overall maintenance.

Partnering closely with marketing team on in-store events.

Providing recurring customer feedback to appropriate departments (design, production, technology, marketing).

Partnering closely with ecommerce and customer service teams to provide a consistent and seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Consistently clienteling to maintain relationships with top customers while helping to meet sales goals.

Keep up to date with trends of competitive retailers in accessories.

Maintaining a professional appearance and manner consistent with established company guidelines.

Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of high-end retail sales experience

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication

Proficient in Microsoft office applications including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint

Strong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and ability to multi-task and prioritize

Ability to recognize and react to changing work demands

Dedication to high levels of customer service and sales productivity

Ability to stay focused on creating goal-driven results

Establish and maintain positive working relationships with management, customers, and co-workers

Confident working alone and/or off-site

Must be comfortable carrying and lifting up to 40lbs unassisted

Must have flexibility and availability in regard to scheduling
