Under general administrative direction of a college president, serves as a campus Assistant Chief Executive Officer, overseeing academic, student affairs and/or support services programs for the college.Examples of Duties/Essential Functions:Serves as an Assistant Chief Executive Officer for a college in the District, overseeing academic, student affairs and/or support services programs.Provides vision and leadership for a diverse, dynamic and innovative community of managers, faculty, staff and students.Ensures that accreditation standards are met.Develops, recommends and carries out comprehensive policies and programs for managing the College’s educational activities and services.Participates in the hiring process of college managers, supervisors, faculty and classified staff.Oversees research and submission of grant applications and proposals to federal, state, foundation and other funding agencies.Manages College educational programs and services operating budgets.Represents the college on College and District-wide committees and task forces.Minimum Qualifications:EDUCATION:

Earned Master’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university.EXPERIENCE:

Equivalent to at least three (3) years of relevant full-time management experience.License/Certification:

A valid Class C California Driver’s License.Desirable Qualifications:Five (5) years of successful public higher education administrative experience in Instruction.Three (3) years of teaching experience in higher education, preferably at a community college.Earned doctorate degree from an accredited institution.Job Open Date:
