The role requires superior judgment, multitasking capabilities, and effective communication of legal strategies.Duties:
Conduct patent prosecution and portfolio management on a global scale.Provide expertise in freedom to operate and patent clearance analyses.Handle licensing agreements and other technology transactions.Conduct due diligence related to mergers and acquisitions.Requirements:
Hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.Registered with the USPTO.8-14 years of relevant experience.Excellent academic record.Proficient writing skills.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.Superior judgment and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.Experience in global patent prosecution and portfolio management.Familiarity with freedom to operate and patent clearance analyses.Background in licensing and other technology transactions.Prior experience in due diligence related to mergers and acquisitions.Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:
Active Bar license in Missouri (MO).Skills:
