landing page to learn more.Pinterest’s Security team is seeking a Sr. Security Engineer to help fight automations and prevent abuses of the platform. You will define strategies, build solutions, perform data analysis, and work with teams to improve our overall anti-automation posture and enhance our bot detection capabilities. We are looking for a candidate with a passion for anti-automation and a strong background in bot detection. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building bot detection solutions and in-depth knowledge of industry best practices in coding and software engineering.What you’ll do:Identify gaps in our existing anti-automation approaches and drive improvementsDefine anti-automation policies and strategiesIntegrate industry best practices to our existing anti-automation systemsDeliver and review code that is well-documented, tested, and operable.Work cross function to architect scalable solutions to service internal customers’ need on bot signalsInteract directly with stakeholders and define goals & metricsWho you are:5+ years of experience in anti-automation, bot detection, or fraud detectionProficiency in a dynamic programming language such as Python, Java, or Go, requiredEnthusiasm for the constant fight to bot detection and preventionStrong coding skills and an ability to deliver well-documented, testable, and operable software solutionsThis position is not eligible for relocation assistance.
