The role involves handling a diverse range of physical and financial transactions, with a focus on project finance, securitization of energy assets, and navigating the complexities of energy transition.Represent financial institutions, commodity trading companies, energy marketers, project developers, and investors in the energy sector.Handle a wide variety of physical and financial transactions related to energy and infrastructure.Demonstrate expertise in project finance and securitization of energy assets.Negotiate and document structured transactions, hedging, offtake, and other trading arrangements for conventional and renewable energy sources, environmental products, and natural gas.Be conversant with credit and security documentation, as well as standard master agreements in the energy and commodities trading industry (e.g., ISDA, EEI, NAESB).Play a substantial role in project management and be comfortable with client interaction.Be a team player with strong interpersonal skills.Requirements:JD from an accredited law school.3+ years of experience in energy and infrastructure law.Admitted to practice law in Texas.Skills:Expertise in project finance and securitization of energy assets.Negotiation and documentation of structured transactions.Familiarity with standard master agreements (ISDA, EEI, NAESB).Strong interpersonal skills.Comfortable with substantial roles in project management.
