Raymond Stiles (843-574-8233) raymond@nowhealthcare.orgCompany:Federally Qualified Health Center that provides affordable, accessible and comprehensive health care servicesFounded on their mission to provide quality healthcare primarily to the medically underservedPatient-Centered Care team providing care for an underserved patient populationBenefits and Features:Compensation: $250,000 - $280,000Federal Loan Repayment - 25K per year tax freeExcellent benefits package including medical, dental, vision, lifeGreat PTO and CMERelocation AssistanceVisa Sponsorship - J1 / H1B if necessaryYour Role with the Company:Outpatient Primary Care Clinic - Canton, OHInternal Medicine Physician - Assistant Medical DirectorMonday-Friday - 8:00-4:30Establishes Medical guidelines for the medical care delivered by all physicians.Provides professional oversight for assigned Advanced Practice Nurses and physician assistants according to collaborative practice and supervisory agreements.Directly supervises the quality of medical care provided by physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, residents, interns, and students.Conducts medical staff performance and quality improvement/quality assurance evaluations after completion of quarterly chart audits.Directly evaluates Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants as assigned and provides feedback to Medical Director to provide annual clinical evaluations.Participates in the After Hours Call Rotations.Monitors appropriateness of specialist referrals and hospital transfers.Admin Duties:Participate in Strategic Planning of Health Center.Collaborates with HR Director to screen, interview, and recommend candidates to Medical Director for final interview and selection of candidate for provider opening.Participates in All Staff Meetings, Provider Meetings and Senior Leadership.Participates in Quality Improvement Committee including the review and updates to medical policies.Provides annual medical report to board of directors with Medical Director.Background Profile:Board Certified / Board Eligible Internal Medicine PhysicianEligible for OH Medical LicenseDesire to work with Underserved Populations and do clinical teaching a plusVisa Sponsorship - J1 / H1B if necessary
