Target hiring range for this position will be between $26.81- $29.69 per hour; $55,979 to $61,993 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.Job Summary:This position performs high complexity clinical lab procedures in support of the NMH and LCH transplant centers. The procedures are molecular based tissue typing, flow cytometric and solid phase antibody testing and crossmatch, and immunoassays. Follows appropriate protocols, policies, regulations, Good Clinical and Good Laboratory Practices. This position will require some on-call and overtime, including weekends.Employee will require access to NM/Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Lurie Children's Hospital. Employee affiliation to NM requires yearly influenza vaccination documentation submission or proof of accommodation/religious/medical exemption.Specific Responsibilities:TechnicalPerforms, analyzes, and interprets clinical histocompatibility tests. Completes all aspects of the HLA histocompatibility procedures performed in the CLIA and ASHI certified Transplant Immunology Laboratory.
