A law firm is seeking an experienced Asbestos Litigation Attorney/Senior Counsel with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in all stages of asbestos-specific litigation. The ideal candidate will also possess general product liability experience. This position is based in Dallas, TX, and requires an active Texas Bar license.Duties:
Manage and oversee all aspects of asbestos-related cases from initiation to resolution.Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategy.Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.Provide legal counsel to clients on asbestos-related matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Collaborate with internal teams, co-counsel, and clients to develop effective legal strategies.Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations as necessary.Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in asbestos-specific litigation with general product liability experience.Active Texas Bar license and current practice in Texas.Excellent academic record from a reputable law school.High attention to detail and superior judgment.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Effective management of multiple projects simultaneously.Articulate legal strategies and courses of action clearly and persuasively.Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Skills:
Legal research and analysis.Drafting and reviewing legal documents.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Project management.Job Location:
