Senior Program Manager

The team

The Product Operations team drives the program management function for high-value and complex programs initiated from the Tech Org. We demonstrate the discipline and rigor to focus the teams on outcomes. We use data to measure progress and inform decisions.

Our team leads the program management functions for high-value cross-team programs initiated from the Prod and Tech groups as well as planning, resourcing, and rhythm of business operations, to ensure predictable delivery of our commitments and enable cohesive cross-company collaboration. We work closely with Product Management, Engineering and User Experience to define, design, and build cutting-edge experiences for our customers. We partner with the Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Security and other teams to successfully bring the product to market.

This position

The Senior Program Manager will lead and motivate our teams by introducing efficient processes, driving innovative and measurable solutions to maximize efficiency for team members, while working in unison with the product development teams to create the best experiences for our customers. This role will be responsible for managing programs of large scope, impact, and complexity through all phases of the product life cycle.

Job responsibilities

Partner with Product, UX, & Engineering teams on defining roadmaps, aligning on timelines

Ensure product teams have are sufficiently resourced to deliver upon commitments

Autonomously craft and communicate a concise narrative that unites disparate groups of people, including company leaders, around key business objectives and drivers

At a project level, work with implementation teams to determine realistic schedules to launch new products and features

Build and implement communication plans that identify who, when, what, and how to disseminate information, to drive intended outcomes, executing in a measured and balanced way for the full spectrum of audiences relevant to business objectives

Autonomously create and set the gold standard for others to follow or be inspired by developing templates, processes, frameworks etc. for the team as needed

Drive scope/timeline discussion, track, identify, & resolve program interdependencies, risks/issues, milestones, and program artifacts across various project tracks to ensure successful project implementation and rollout

Prepare and maintain program dashboards, status reports for Steering Committee/Executive briefings check point, along with all program level communications

Present information to technical or non-technical audiences ranging from team level meetings through to Executive briefs and updates

Basic Qualifications

8+ years leading complex, cross-functional, global programs in SaaS based products

Proficient using Atlassian Toolset: Jira, Confluence, Portfolio/Advanced Reporting

Proficient in metrics gathering and usage via Tableau and Pendo

B.S degree in Computer science or a related comparable field of study

Preferred Qualifications

Equally confident in working with executive team members as working with software developers and individual contributors

Experience working with Compliance, Legal, Privacy and Security teams

Distill complex and nuanced requirements into understandable concepts for all relevant internal partners.

Skilled at dealing with ambiguity in a rapidly growing and changing environment.

Experience in a company that has scaled or experience in both small- and large-scale software development organizations.

Strong business acumen and technical background, with the ability to quickly understand and communicate technical concepts and challenges across wide-ranging audiences.

Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary Range: $130,575 to $191,510. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to work location and experience. The base salary is one component of 6sense’s total compensation package for this position. Other compensation may include a bonus program or commission plan, and stock options if approved by 6sense’s board. In addition, 6sense provides a variety of benefits, including generous health insurance coverage, life, and disability insurance, a 401K employer matching program, paid holidays, self-care days, and paid time off (PTO).
