STV is seeking a

CAD Manager

for our

Texas Mountain Region

to provide leadership, technical guidance, and mentorship in

Transportation design

for any of our

TX, CO, OK

locations. The ideal candidate will have the technical acumen and managerial skills to facilitate smooth design, coordination, and construction workflows while optimizing project quality and productivity.Responsibilities:Prepare detailed engineering 3D designs for roadway and highway projects in a digital delivery environment, working in close coordination with project engineers and designers as a member of a multi-discipline team.Using ProjectWise, deploy new CADD Workspaces/Worksets for Bentley OpenRoads Designer CONNECT Edition based projects.Assist in the digital delivery work of project teams.Perform uniform setup and configuration of Bentley CADD products for users throughout the company.Assist in implementing and maintaining CADD standards and best practices for OpenRoads Designer and PowerGeopak users throughout the company.Oversee completeness and accuracy of project CADD work.Support users with troubleshooting and developing necessary fixes or workarounds due to product issues.Evaluate and recommend tools to improve work efficiency.Write or prepare graphic materials for presentations or documents.Qualifications:Associate degree or equivalent in CADD/Drafting, Engineering Technology, 3D Modeling, and/or Bentley certifications. Comparable experience working in BIM, Gaming, Surveying, or other 3D Model Industry will be considered.20 years of experience as a CADD Designer or CADD Manager in the Civil Engineering field working with modeling software.Experience with OpenRoads Designer and MicroStation PowerGeopak is required. AutoCAD, Civil3D, 3dsmax, Unreal Engine, Revit, and Rhino3d experience are all a plus.On occasion, develop complex 3D models, layouts, drawings, and designs from written or verbal specifications, from rough or detailed sketches, or drawings.Interact with Bentley support to escalate and resolve any software issues.Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.Develop and conduct training programs, onsite and online, for staff across the company in the use of OpenRoads Designer CONNECT.Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects such as roadway, interchanges, airports, and corporate buildings for DOTs and local governments is a significant plus.Implement and ensure a high level of competency, accuracy, and efficiency in digital project delivery.Available for travel.Compensation Range:$126,513.00 - $168,684.00STV is committed to expanding our culture of diversity and inclusion, reflecting the clients we serve and the communities we work in.
