Optima Healing is seeking a Clinical Director for our outpatient substance use treatment program in Henderson, Nevada. Our program offers PHP, IOP, and OP services to adults (18+). Join our team today, and let's shape the future of behavioral health together!

Clinical Director Salary Range: $90,000-$120,000

As the Clinical Director, you will impact both day-to-day operations and the broader vision of Optima Healing.

Develop the clinical curriculum

Oversee clinical programming, staff supervision, and quality improvement plans.

Collaborate closely with our Leadership team to shape administrative strategies.

Provide clinical services, foster staff development, and drive program innovation.

Clinical Director Responsibilities:

Provides supervision for clinical staff

Supervises all clinical activities, which includes monitoring groups, individual therapy, documentation practices, and charting to maintain the highest standards of quality and effectiveness for both substance use and mental health programs.

Providing direct clinical care to clients in individual and group settings as needed, for adult populations.

Develops and implements the policies and procedures for the operation of the outpatient clinic.

Coordinates and collaborates with contracted billing company and any internal utilization review staff.

Participates in the overall employment process for clinical staff, including recruiting, interviewing, employing, supervising, and discharging, according to established personnel policies.

Fosters a healthy and positive team-approach with staff.

Promotes a positive workplace culture to effectively recruit and retain high quality staff.

Clinical Director Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in a Behavioral Health Related field.

Must be licensed

in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology (i.e. LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, Ph.D.).

Ph.D. in psychology preferred.

Strong experience in Motivational Interviewing is required. MINT certification in MI

strongly preferred

or expected to be certified within 6 months of hire.

Specialty experience and competence in treating substance use disorders and other addictions.

2 years, at minimum, of supervisory experience required.

ASAM and DSM experience and knowledge

Experience with startup organizations is preferred.

Demonstrated computer proficiency.
