This position will support the US Department of Veterans Affairs Critical Staffing Program. The person in this position will represent International SOS and provide the services outlined below.The CRNA will provide comprehensive clinical anesthesiology services including patients undergoing general surgery, orthopedic, including joint replacement, plastic, ENT, urologic, podiatric, minor vascular, Gynecology, Endoscopy, Dental/oral and ophthalmologic operations. Successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality anesthesia care in accordance with the standards set by the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA).Provide primary coverage for all patients in the surgical intensive care, short stay unit, acute and chronic pain management services, diagnostic transesophageal echocardiography for medical and surgical patients, and emergency airway management.Provide consultative services at the patient’s bedside if the patient is not ambulatory and, in the clinic, setting if the patient is able to report to the outpatient clinic.Perform emergency airway management and provide consultative services at the patient’s bedside or in the outpatient clinic as needed.Ensure timely presence for scheduled clinics/surgeries, documented by physical presence in the clinic or operating room at the scheduled start time.Maintain compliance with all VA educational and mandatory training requirements.Qualifications

Basic Requirements/Certifications:Full Unrestricted RN License – Any stateBoard Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA)Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalency.Min 1 year experience as CRNA within the last 3 yearsEducation Required:Master of Science in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice Degree - Candidates must be a graduate of a school of nursing that was approved and/or accredited by the appropriate State agency and accredited by either the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) at the time the program was completed.Physical Requirements:Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.May require bending, stooping and lifting to 30 lbs.Other Special Qualifications:US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card is required.Must relocate to project site for the duration of the contract.Pass/possess VA Public Trust ClearanceSchedule:6 Months, Monday-Friday 7 am to 3.30 pm with On-Call hours required25% of all On-call weekends, holidays, and night hoursContract PositionAdditional Information

Compensation | Min: $225/Hr Max: $250/HrPay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.Benefits:This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
