Reporting to the Sr. Director, Software Development Engineering, you'll be responsible for:Ongoing innovation and enhancement of our Cloud Firewall and Web Proxy solutionArchitecting solutions to prevent complex attacks, intrusions, and data loss utilizing Zero Trust architectureOffering architectural guidance to identify potential threats and assessing risk levels across policies and access controlsPlanning architectural changes to respond proactively to risk and the latest security standardsWhat We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)15+ years software development experience in large-scale commercial networking oriented applicationsYou are experienced in Load balancers, IPS/IDS, Routers, or Firewall products in multi-threading / multi-core / fault tolerant real-time embedded platforms.You have expert-level programming skills in C and UNIX/Linux/RTOS and are an expert in complete software development cycleYou have experience with TCP/IP, High performance Computing, Event-based programming, and Fault ToleranceBS degree (Engineering/Computer Science)What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)Experience with FreeBSD-based networking solutionsKnowledge of HTTP and web proxiesExperience in Cloud-based Networking solutions is plusSome small company/startup experienceAt Zscaler, we believe that diversity drives innovation, productivity, and success.
