Venture capital firm that invests in growth-stage technology companies primarily by providing structured liquidity to founders, senior executives, early investors, and early employees. Founded in 2011 with almost $2 billion in assets under management, we've built a portfolio of increasingly dominant companies in areas as diverse as space exploration, freight forwarding, ridesharing, e-commerce, and human resource management. Our investment partners include a mix of seasoned venture capitalists and experienced entrepreneurs.

Position Description

Looking for a Senior Accountant to join its growing finance team. The Senior Accountant will assist the CFO, Controller, Accounting Manager

Position Responsibilities

Verify the accuracy of invoices and facilitate the accounts payable/receivable processLiaise with service providers (fund administrator, audit and tax teams, etc.)Assist with the quarterly and annual financial statement audits, tax returns and regulatory/compliance filingsUpdate and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other transactions for funds as well as management companyProcess and review transactions related to the Funds’ investments and expensesMonitor banking activity and process/review transactions as needed including wire transfers and line of credit requestsAssist with the review of credit card transactions and reconciling itemsAssist with the preparation of company budgetsMaintain organized and thorough accounting documentationPerform other related tasks or projects as assigned

Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting2-4+ years of professional experienceHighly organized and strong attention to detailSuperb verbal and written communication skills a mustExperience with QuickBooks not necessary but a plusAbility to self-manage and work with teams located out-of-stateStrong problem solver with a willingness to learn and take on challenges and prioritizeStrong and demonstrated interest in Accounting and FinanceCompensation: DOEMeet Your Recruiter
