How can you leave your mark?We are looking for a

Mechanical Engineer

for an important project in Greece.

Scope of Work:

Collaborate with the client's site team to manage technical queries raised by the construction contractors regarding the engineering work provided by the company.

Provide technical support and guidance to the construction contractors to ensure the successful implementation of the engineering designs and specifications.

Review and analyze the technical queries and issues raised by the contractors and work with the site team to develop appropriate solutions.

Coordinate with the design and engineering team to address any technical concerns or modifications required during the construction phase.

Ensure that the mechanical systems and equipment installed on-site meet the project's design requirements, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.

Assist in the commissioning and testing of the mechanical systems to ensure their proper functioning and performance.

Contribute to the overall project management by providing technical expertise, monitoring progress, and identifying and mitigating potential risks.

Collaborate with other disciplines, such as civil, electrical, and process engineers, to ensure the integration and coordination of the various systems.

Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting related to the mechanical engineering aspects of the project.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 10 years of experience in the mining or heavy industry sector, preferably in copper-gold porphyry deposit projects.

Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and construction practices.

Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations applicable to the mining industry.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills to effectively collaborate with the site team and construction contractors.

Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing project requirements.

Proficient in the use of engineering software and tools.
