Health Science Program Analyst
to work onsite with the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. This is a long-term position which offers: Competitive salary Tremendous growth opportunity Opportunity to work at NIH, the world's foremost medical research center The US base salary for this full-time position is $24-29/hr + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
In support of the NIH, National Institute on Aging's overall mission, work across the institute to support the Office of Special Populations catalyzing research in health disparities, examining the health of minoritized older adults from a strengths-based perspective, and diversifying the scientific workforce leading and supporting aging research. Review, translate, and disseminate literature and research information into user-friendly tools. Actively contribute to updating the NIA Health Disparities Research Framework. Foster innovative collaborations and partnerships. Demonstrate flexibility in coordinating various tasks. Compose professional correspondences effectively, clearly, and concisely. Research and evaluate the operation of the organization's scientific programs. Research, interpret, and summarize background materials from a variety of scientific sources. Compile data and create and prepare graphs, slides, and presentations. Perform logistical planning of various scientific meetings, lectures, and workshops. Plan, organize, and participate at a senior level in technical meetings and consultations. Review and evaluate the performance of the organization. Qualifications
Education: Masters Degree Experience: 3 years Certifications & Licenses
- Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) Human Subjects Research Field of Study
- Community and Public Health Software
- Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) - Microsoft Word - Zoom - Adobe Acrobat - PowerPoint Skills
