POSITION SUMMARY
This position will be a key team member in helping design, develop, and mature our online web experiences and Digital Marketing efforts. This position will be responsible for taking designs, strategies, and concepts and turning them into functional interactive web experiences and marketing campaigns for our games and services. This position will work closely with a cross functional team of designers, engineers, marketing, and brand managers. This role will focus on optimizing and innovating both existing and new technologies for experiences that make our websites easy to use and impactful.Join us at our new campus in Irvine, California where a hybrid work schedule will be observed.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCode the client side programming and support for new and existing web and online platform interfaces (primarily using Angular)Optimize performance of client-side code, taking into account issues of page weight, complexity, SEO, network, user perception, and QA testingDevelop, maintain, and launch high quality web experiences and infrastructure that support our digital marketing strategies and game launchesExperience with building models and taxonomies in CMS tools such as HygraphOccasionally be available to launch content during weekends or early/late hours of the day to support our global publishing calendarDevelop and support UX development and assist with online features such as registration, user profile, payment channels, and general web site featuresDefine, maintain, implement, and enforce best practices, code standards, reusable mark-ups, and CSS style guidesUtilize analytics and data to continually optimize development and experiencesWork with PM, QA, and a back end engineer to manage staging, testing, and production workflowWork with UI/UX team to recreate Creative comps accurately from FigmaEffectively present creative ideas and designs to cross functional teamsManage own front end development workload and queue within JIRAQUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS3-4 years of experience with HTML, HTML5 and CSS33 years of online and or heavy web UX development experience1-2 years experience with CMS tools, preferably HygraphAdvanced knowledge of JavaScript libraries, particularly Node JS and AngularStrong understanding of responsive design and mobile firstExperience with design systems and reusable componentsExperience developing rapid prototypes of potential new features and interfacesExperience with integrating front end with server side technologiesUser centered focus development mind set and disciplineFamiliarity with supporting tools such as Figma, Adobe, and Microsoft productsEDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTSBS or MS degree in Computer ScienceOr equivalent professional experienceSALARYSalary Exp: $100,515 - $156,897Actual base salary will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, but not limited to, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
