We are HIRING! We are seeking a high-energy Dual Director of Sales to lead our sales efforts at two of our amazing properties located in the Groton/Mystic CT market. This position is designed for a leader with Hilton sales experience that can hit the ground running. This position is responsible for all aspects of hotel revenue and exceeding budgeted goals & year over year growth.

Qualifications:A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Hotel Director of Sales with Hilton system experienceA proven track record of at least 4+ years demonstrating exceptional sales achievementsProficiency in the English languageReliable transportation a mustIntermediate to advanced computer skills, with experience in ONQ, RNI & Delphi.Excellent verbal and written communication skillsOutstanding interpersonal abilities and an unwavering commitment to delivering excellent customer serviceProficiency in effective communication across all levels of the organizationDemonstrated expertise in propelling the sales process forwardExceptional skills in listening, negotiation, and presentationEmpowering leadership style, capable of inspiring and guiding teamsEase in capability of multitasking and excelling under pressureOrganized and detailed

Responsibilities:Take charge of leading, directing, coordinating, and overseeing group and corporate transient sales in all facets of sales-related endeavorsFoster growth within existing accounts while proactively generating new business to surpass budgetary expectations, thereby optimizing revenue and profitabilityNourish and maintain relationships with current accounts, cultivating enduring partnershipsFormulate innovative sales and marketing strategies tailored to each designated hotelCollaborate closely with the rest of sales team, revenue management, and Hotel General Manager to ensure properties thrive in profitability while maintaining guest satisfactionCultivate strong partnerships with sales coordinator and Hotel General Manager at assigned locations to facilitate the acquisition of group business across diverse segments, including corporate transient clienteleProvide comprehensive training and support to sales coordinator to ensure their performance aligns with Hilton brand standardsEstablish and implement effective sales strategies that drive property-wide goals for both rate and occupancyCreate and execute an annual marketing plan addressing sales strategies and budget objectivesDevelop an in-depth understanding of hotel operations, including room types, meeting capacities, service offerings, and unique property attributesDemonstrate a solid understanding of market dynamics, encompassing competitors, economic trends, and supply and demand factorsProactively reach out to secure new business, advancing regional revenue goalsAttain monthly revenue targets for room and banquet sales, setting an example for the team and offering guidance in meeting assigned objectivesFocus efforts on specific accounts, markets, or segments through proactive solicitation and thorough account saturationActively participate in local networking organizations, community events, and industry gatherings, effectively representing River Link Hotels with professionalism and distinctionPerform other duties as assigned
