The

General Manager

position is a

high-impact role

tailored for a dynamic leader who thrives on meeting challenges and achieving results. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is focused around creating and refining our operational systems and processes, helping build our team through smart hiring, and finding ways to drive revenue. As a

proactive problem solver

with a focus on the big picture,

you will oversee the daily vacation rental operations , ensuring we stay ahead in a rapidly changing environment.

A Day in the Life:

As a General Manager, your leadership and organizational skills will shine as you

create and refine systems and processes, oversee the onboarding and furnishing of new properties, find ways to drive revenue and reduce expenses, and solve immediate property and guest issues . You’ll engage with property owners and guests to ensure their needs are met and resolve any issues promptly. Your strategic mind will be put to use as you

develop and implement marketing strategies

to drive bookings and revenue growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and Oversee Operations:

Manage sales, marketing, guest experience & services, and property management to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences. Proactively problem-solve with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues before they arise.

Develop Strategic Plans:

Drive revenue growth and operational efficiency by analyzing occupancy rates, guest reviews, and property condition to ensure year-over-year profitability of each property.

Team Leadership:

Develop departmental KPIs to assess the success of each department, inspire and manage the team.

Stakeholder Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners, guests, and community partners.

Financial Analysis and Optimization:

Analyze financial data to optimize revenue and minimize expenses while ensuring compliance with laws and policies.

Customer Satisfaction:

Resolve guest complaints promptly and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Passionate about the vacation rental industry and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices.

Innovative Marketing Strategies:

Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and increase bookings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in the hospitality or property management industry.

Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality, or a related field is preferred.

Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Significant team building, management and leadership experience.

Familiarity with budget creation and interpretation of financial statements.

Tech-savvy with experience in current software; experience with property management software and other relevant tools is a plus.

Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Annual Salary:

$100,000+ significantly based on experience and achievement.

Bonus:

Eligibility for performance-based raises, bonuses, and commissions in business growth.
