About the TeamThe mission of our Consumer Retention Marketing team is to build lasting relationships with our customers as soon as they engage with DoorDash by providing them with a personalized, cross-channel experience that delights them and drives them to return to DoorDash to find the products, merchants, and deals that are relevant to them.
About the RoleAs CRM Marketing Manager you will be responsible for communications and programs to increase retention and engagement of our customers across email, SMS, push notifications and in-app messaging. You will be responsible for ideating and executing CRM strategies to increase users' order frequency. In this role specifically, you will focus on our most active customers and identify ways to surface personalized merchant selection, trigger customized comms based on user behavior, and strategize around large brand launches.
What You’ll Do
Create the strategy and framework for developing CRM campaigns based on merchant/partner marketing programs
Execute and monitor complex journeys, triggers and automations with static and dynamic content based on partner marketing programs
Partner with CRM lifecycle leads to ensure complementary strategies across merchant marketing programs and existing lifecycle campaigns
Project manage campaigns across internal xfn teams of sales, marketing, creative, and operations
Develop and maintain campaign documentation including campaign overviews, internal calendar, and status documents for cross functional reference
Own preparation and execution of campaign tactics: promotions, in-app banners, emails, and customer lists
Analyze campaign results, develop benchmarks, and create and share regular performance reports
Manage 1-2 direct reports to execute against merchant/partner programs with potential to grow
Qualifications
6+ years experience in the customer retention, email, growth marketing, and/or partner marketing space; people management a plus
Record of driving business results via cross-channel marketing campaigns
Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
Hands on experience with CRM technology including ESPs, segmentation tools, and complex data structures and systems
Ability to work with complex data sets to understand impact and glean insights on the drivers of campaign performance
Extremely organized, dependable, self-motivated & ability to multi-task
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
