Reporting to Sr. Manager of Quality Assurance, the IT QA Lead is responsible for leading the testing efforts for new software applications, system integrations, and upgrades across the organization's technology platforms. This includes planning, executing, and reporting on all testing activities to ensure high-quality software releases that meet business requirements and compliance standards. This role includes overseeing a team of 5-10 offshore resources.Supervision Exercised:

No, this position does not have direct reports.What You'll Be Doing:Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.Lead and coordinate testing activities, working closely with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and subject matter experts to ensure seamless collaboration and successful outcomes.Design and implement automated testing frameworks and tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.Manage the test environment setup, data preparation, and test data management.Execute functional, integration, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.Identify, document, and track software defects and issues through the resolution process.Analyze test results, prepare detailed test reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.Ensure testing activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and best practices, including HIPAA and CMS guidelines.Collaborate with development teams to provide feedback and recommendations for improving software quality and testability.Oversee a team of 5-10 offshore resources, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure continuous learning and improvement within the team.Working Conditions:

Standard office conditions.What We're Looking For:Required Education (must have):Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.Desired Education (nice to have):Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Required Experience (must have):8+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.Experience in the healthcare or insurance industry.Working knowledge and application of the Agile development, SDLC, and QA methodologies with a demonstrable knowledge of QA methodologies (Smoke, Functional, Integration, Regression, Load testing).Leading a testing team of cross-functional client and contracted resources across geographical locations.Experience with Automated Testing applications and previously have worked with or have exposure to performance and automation testing.Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and containerization technologies (e.g., AWS, Docker).Desired Experience (nice to have):Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE, CTAL).Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (must have):Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, techniques, and tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JMeter, LoadRunner).Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, Ruby).Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations, standards, and best practices (e.g., HIPAA, CMS guidelines).Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, qTest).Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Language (nice to have):Jira Software.Confluence.EEO is The Law.
