Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms using React NativeCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new featuresEnsure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applicationsIdentify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugsHelp maintain code quality, organization, and automatizationParticipate in code reviews and contribute to our development best practicesStay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologiesAssist Lead Developer with mobile app development strategies and execute the plansMonitor mobile app performance and troubleshoot app issues, ensuring optimal user experienceDevelop and maintain technical documentation related to mobile app projectsLearn new technologies and apply them to fulfill business needsMake critical decisions to keep projects on track and aligned with evolving client needsBalance program strategy with tactical development support as neededActively mentor and assist more junior engineers in developing their React Native skillsBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersParticipate in technical interviews with new candidatesEffectively communicate technical issues and developments with team members and clientsPresent mobile app architecture, design documents, etc. to clients, stakeholders, and other engineersUtilize strong influential skills to drive improvements in mobile app development processes and practicesPropose and evaluate multiple approaches to technical and process problems in mobile app developmentChampion best practices in React Native development and architectureBasic qualifications

Essential Requirements5+ years of experience in mobile app development3+ years of experience with React NativeProven track record of shipping React Native apps to both iOS and Android app storesStrong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScriptExperience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX)Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQLKnowledge of offline storage, threading, and performance tuningUnderstanding of the full mobile development life cycleExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git)Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills and ability to work in a team environmentPreferred Skills and ExperienceExperience with native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin/Java) developmentFamiliarity with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelinesKnowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologiesOpen-source project contributionsExperience with mobile app performance optimization techniquesKnowledge of mobile app security best practicesFamiliarity with mobile app analytics and crash reporting toolsRequirement

$114,000 - $136,000 a year
